2008 Saint Louis Bioblitz Information

Lady BugDescription
The Saint Louis BioBlitz is a 24-hour inventory of all living organisms in Forest Park. Teams of scientists and naturalists with expertise in various taxa, aided by a cadre of volunteers, will observe and record as many species as possible during the 24-hour time period. The two major goals of the BioBlitz are to learn about the presence of new species from as many taxonomic groups as possible, and to increase public awareness of the local biodiversity and that it can exist within an urban environment. In addition, there will be numerous community activities to give you an opportunity to learn about Forest Park and the Missouri environment.
